This black & yellow altar cloth measures 18" square and has a spiral goddess, triple moon and pentagram in the center surrounded by detailed Celtic knot work. The edges of the altar cloth are decoratively fringed.
Most literally, the triple moon represents the waxing, full and waning phases of the moon. The triple moon is also referred to as the Triple Goddess, representing the goddess in her three aspects of maiden, mother, and crone.
The pentagram represents the balance of spirit and the material world,
with the 5 points representing spirit and the elements of earth, air,
fire, and water. It symbolizes protection, life, and health. The terms
pentacle and pentagram are frequently used interchangeably.
